Innovation: Africa was founded in 2008, is a non-profit organization that uses solar and water technology to electrify schools and medical centers and to pump clean water across 10 African countries.
For example, through their Innovation: Africa Water project, they work with local contractors to build solar water pumping systems. This includes drilling, the building of a water tower, and the installation of solar panels. Moreover, the charity distributes energy boxes that can light entire schools, as well as power medical equipment and laptops.
