One dream, cycling around the World.
One, simple, plan: 1 bicycle, 3+ years and 5 continents.
The journey starts in Finland, where I have everything to start this journey!
It will be a slow warmup where I can teach the bicycle how to ride.
Baltics first, then Poland, Slovakia, Austria and Slovenia.
Reaching my family in Italy, quick stop for fixing the bicycle, then on the road again direction France, Andorra and Spain.
Here we go, the most challenging parts of the jorney… the West Coast of Africa.
Marocco, Mauritania and Senegal, the Sahara desert is per se a life experience to cross by bicycle.
Some green colors and shadows in tropical coastal forests and mangroves… Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola.
Then again deserts in Namibia till reaching the southest point of the continent and the first milestone… South Africa.
Stunning contries on the way up, Lesotho, Botwsana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Fascinating countries in the journey, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Conflict zones and difficult visa to obtain will force me to take some flights, most likely. India, with its beatiful Himalayas, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Well, Australia is a must if you like deserts like me. Let’s see if New Zealands fits in..
Time to start to reach the Northern emisphere from the bottom.
The epic roads Route 40 and Carretera Austral… this means Argentina, Chile, Boliva, Peru and Colombia.
Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and finally conclude by cycling United States from west to est.
